OpenMath 2005 is the first Italian symposium completely devoted to free software and Mathematics.
OpenMath 2005 is organized by the University of Padova department of Vicenza to spread informations about free and open source software for Mathematics. Speakers at OpenMath are Italian developers and contributors to free and open source projects. They are please to show Italian teachers the educational relevance and the innovative significance of some high quality free and open source environments to study Mathematics at the moment not diffused yet.
Some topics treated at OpenMath are of interest for the project Lauree Scientifiche of the Italian Ministery for Education and Teaching.
