How resources are searched in GNU Edu
In GNU Edu, in short, resources can be searched by keyword or by curriculum.
By keywords
How to search
- use a search box; enter the keyword in the language of the interface (the one you have selected from the top menu)
or
- pick your keywords from the list, then select educational items
What you get
- a list of resources from the country you have selected in the subjects page
- information about the resources, like license, format, required software, author...
- the URL for viewing or downloading the resource
- the URL for getting the source, if needed
How it works
Let's assume you're a native German speaker and you want to know how the French teachers teach triangles:

By curriculum
How to search
- select a country
- select a curriculum and click "view chapters"
- select one or more chapter(s)
- view items, or view keywords, as you prefer, and continue as above
By items
How to search
- use the keywords search, or the curriculum search, until you get a list of items
- select a list of items you want, and press "View Resources"
What you get
- a list of resources for the country you selected, in the official language(s) of this country
- information about the resources, like license, format, required software, author...
- the URL for viewing or downloading the resource
- the URL for getting the source, if needed
